“Red Banquet” - Guzzlord is a Beast!
Hi there Pokémon players! I’m very excited to be writing yet another article on the Gym Leader Challenge format today, however, I wanted to give a quick shout-out to everybody. I know that there are a few factors in play regarding COVID-19, however, I am hoping that in 2022 we will be able to see a brighter light as well as the beginning of the 2022 Pokémon season. The sky is really the limit in terms of the Gym Leader Challenge format with Andrew Mahone being one of the ringleaders behind this whole thing. After playing a tournament at my local league, I’ve come to realize how amazing this format really is, and how much vast depth that the format contains. I had so much fun playing around with all these single Prize Card Pokemon I couldn’t believe my eyes as to what I was seeing with this unique take on the Pokémon trading card game. I would even go as far as to say that I think that this should replace our standard format or at least supplement as an additional format in the real-life circuit in 2022. That being said, let’s chat about my experience with a Dark-type Gym Leader Challenge deck today!

“Sky-High Towers” - Duraludon VMAX Reigns Supreme!
Howdy, Trainers! I hope everybody is enjoying 2022 and is setting out to achieve all of their goals. I know I’ve personally set out to achieve some attainable goals, and if you haven’t I urge you to do the same. With the cautious return of competitive play this year, it seems like there will be some regional championships this year as well as some international championships - I urge you to create a goal to earn some Championship Points at these events. Setting a bar for how many points you would like to earn per event is a fundamental step in becoming a consistent player! Without this goal, we’re aiming carelessly and don’t have a precise target to reach. PTCGO Store’s blog section will help you to reach those goals no problem, and that’s our goal with each of these articles: to help guide players! Today, I’ve brought a little piece written about one of my favorite Pokémon in the game, Duraludon! This tank of a Pokémon has been popping up in all sorts of top cuts lately, and I’m shocked that it hasn’t received more coverage. It’s a real metagame stomper, and it’s ruthless at what it does. This deck is really new to the scene, but packs a punch - let’s hop into why Duraludon VMAX is appearing on people’s radars!

Yin Yang Urshifu, light vs evil!
Hey everyone! It's Gabriel Smart here back with another article. Today, we are going to be going over Rapid Strike Urshifu VMAX! Rapid Strike is a deck that has been around for quite some time, and it continues to dominate the metagame. It's honestly really impressive that with so many formats where decks have countered it, it has still remained at the top of its game. In today's article, I will be discussing Rapid Strike Urshifu Moltres. If you are looking for any PTCGO codes in this article, make sure to purchase them off from the PTCGO Store! They provide one of the best prices of PTCGL codes on the market and they have an instant email delivery! Now, let's get into everything you need to know about Rapid Strike Urshifu VMAX, with Galarian Moltres V!

Ice Rider Calyrex Makes a Comeback!
What is going on Pokémon Trainers? In 2022 we can look forward to better things: the pandemic improving, Pokémon tournaments returning back to normal, and of course new Pokémon expansions! That of course means you’re going to need to buy some PTCGO codes (or potentially PTCG Live codes) whenever those expansions get released. Just know that our website has you covered with some of the best deals! In an effort to fit today’s theme of winter festivities, I’ve opted to write about one of the coldest VMAX Pokemon online decks in the format, Ice Rider Calyrex! This deck has posted up some impressive results that I think are worth chatting about, and the lists I’ve seen have improved significantly since this card was first released. That being said, let’s prance our way over to this strategy, and talk about Ice Rider Calyrex VMAX!

Malamar is Great Again!
What’s poppin’ PTCGO store readers? It’s ya boy Zach Lesage and I’m back with another article to grow our Pokemon TCG community! Today I’m going to be going over Malamar (Chilling Reign) and letting you know why this deck is seeing success. Some of you might be wondering why I’m covering a deck that plays zero cards from Fusion Strike, but sometimes the way the format changes can make a deck better. In this case, Mew VMAX (Fusion Strike) has scared away a lot of the Rapid Strike Urshifu VMAX (Battle Styles) decks out of the format that would prey on Inkay (Chilling Reign) trying to Evolve on the Bench. With our format becoming more and more revolving around VMAX Pokemon online decks, Malamar has found a niche spot near the top of the metagame! The best part, this deck is incredibly budget orientated! If you wanna make it extra budget, you can use code zlesage5 to save 5% on your next order of PTCGO codes here at the PTCGO store! Let’s check out this deck!

The King of The Sky is Back!
Hello Pokemon lovers! Right on time for the holidays, we have a very special article written about one of my favorite Pokemon! But before we get into that, I wanted to take a moment to talk about PTCG Live! PTCG Live is the newest successor to PTCGO, and at the time of writing this article, it still hasn’t launched. It was supposed to launch a couple of weeks ago, however, due to bug fixes and the engineering team at TPCi, I’d like to think they’re taking extra time to add some extra magic to the software. I can’t wait to see what it’s going to look like and how it is going to go toe-to-toe with other similar competing software (i.e. Hearthstone). In the meantime, PTCGO is still alive and running, but I just wanted to let people know that PTCG Live will also utilize codes, and those codes can be bought here on the PTCGO store! Since we’re now in December, I wanted to take this opportunity to write about some of the more fun decks in an effort to bring some joy to all the readers. Rayquaza VMAX is the deck we’re going to chat about today - I chose this deck because I don’t think it’s necessarily Tier 1, however it still can beat many decks that are at the top, and it’s one of the most fun decks to pilot in the format. Let’s jump into one of the coolest decks that have been starting to see a play, Rayquaza VMAX!

“Dream On” - Jolteon in Standard!
Good afternoon Pokemon trainers! I’m back with yet another article for you, and this time it is about one of my favorite decks in the format, Jolteon VMAX! Jolteon VMAX has been at the top of the standard format before, however, with the release of Fusion Strike, there has been less Rapid Strike Urshifu VMAX floating around (which was Jolteon’s worst matchup). With a solid game plan against Single Strike variants as well as Mew VMAX, this deck can see a wide variety of successes! Especially when you factor in how strong of a matchup this deck has against Suicune/Ludicolo decks. The metagame seems to be shifting in a way that has answers to Mew VMAX, and Jolteon aims to capitalize on that! I think it’s mostly due to the fact that this deck plays a couple of copies of Path to the Peak. Any VMAX deck that doesn’t require Rule Box abilities to function should really be playing anywhere from 2-4 copies of Path to the Peak to combat Genesect V’s aggressiveness right now. With that being said (and my tangent being complete), let’s pop over to one of the most electrifying decks right now, Jolteon VMAX!
