Lucario & Melmetal

Lucario and Melmetal Gx

Lucario & Melmetal-GX (Unbroken Bonds) is one of the most defensive cards that we have in our format, and it finds a home in this deck featuringZacian V (Sword and Shield) and Zamazenta V (Sword and Shield). With only three Pokemon, you need to choose a strategy in the game and focus on it. Lucario & Melmetal-GX is great at discarding Energy which means you typically want to play it in Tag Team matchups. Zacian V is powerful and is great against Pokemon V. Zamazenta V is great at stopping VMAX Pokemon in their tracks because of its Dauntless Shield Ability. All of them work together great and make for a compelling deck choice!

Eternatus

Eternatus Vmax

Eternatus VMAX (Darkness Ablaze) has been wreaking havoc in our metagame for about a year now, and it hasn’t stopped. The goal has and always will be to Dread End for 270 damage as soon as possible. The biggest recent gain is Galarian Moltres V (Chilling Reign) because it functions to accelerate Energy, helps fulfill a large Bench size for Dread End, and it's a great backup attacker. Energy Switch (Sword and Shield) works wonders with Galarian Moltres V because you can grab an Energy from Direflame Wings, attach one for your turn on Eternatus VMAX, and switch the Energy allow you to attack with Dread End out of nowhere. The deck is also Dark-type, which is a large bonus when it comes to our metagame that's filled with Shadow Rider Calyrex VMAX (Chilling Reign)

Shadow Rider Calyrex

Shadow Rider Calyrex VShadow Rider Calyrex Vmax

This is one of the newest Pokemon online decks in our current metagame, and it’s particularly powerful! Shadow Rider Calyrex VMAX is great at attaching Energy with its Underworld Door Ability, and you can always draw cards with Underworld Door too! Having this two-for-one effect that allows you to get setup rapidly makes this deck an instant threat. Pairing that with its Max Geist attack that is more powerful for each Energy attached to all of your Pokemon makes this Pokemon absolutely devastating! I like using as minimal techs as possible when it comes to this deck, so I’ve selectively chosen Gengar& Mimikyu-GX (Team Up) as my main backup attacker. I can always pause my opponent's turn with a well planned Horror House GX or even try to hit the jackpot by Knocking them Out with Poltergeist. This deck is spookily good!

Ice Rider Calyrex

Ice Rider calyrex VIce Rider calyrex Vmax

Similar to Shadow Rider Calyrex VMAX, Ice Rider Calyrex VMAX (Chilling Reign) is one of the newest decks in our format! At first, it doesn’t seem like much, but Ride of the High King can either OHKO Pokemon with lower amounts of HP or set up a 2HKO with Max Lance. Similarly, Max Lance looks like it peaks at 250 damage with the destructive cost of discarding your Energy, but there are ways to get around that. Inteleon (Chilling Reign) and Leon (Vivid Voltage) allow you to increase your damage output easily and effectively. You can always accelerate Energy to your Pokemon by using Melony (Chilling Reign) to use Max Lance turn after turn. Drizzle (Sword and Shield) allows you to piece those hard-to-find Trainer cards together, and Path to the Peak (Chilling Reign) can slow down your opponent. This deck is icy smooth, and you’ll be skating to victory in no time.

Arceus & Dialga & Palkia-GX

Arceus and Dialga and Palkia

Arceus & Dialga & Palkia-GX (Cosmic Eclipse) has been tearing up events ever since it was released almost two years ago, and it's no different now. Typically it's only been paired with Zacian V, but it's been recently seeing a lot of success with Galarian Moltres V and Galarian Zapdos V (Chilling Reign) to cover more Weaknesses than ever before! It might not consistently have the same style of game plan each game, but it does have answers against most of the top decks in our format right now! Altered Creation GX, attack, attack, game!
